Callie & Syd ~ September 26, 2009

We started the day with Callie at the Hotel Palomar, which had the perfect view of the reception site, The Biltmore. The girls decided that a few mimosas were in order to kick off the wedding day festivities!

Event Design Group did all of the flowers and The Moore Agency did hair and make-up:

This was right before Callie walked down the aisle. While the moms and grandparents were being escorted to their seats, she peeked out of the bride's room to check out the action:

Event Perfect coordinated the ceremony and reception down to the last detail:

These gorgeous centerpieces would fit in perfectly at the inaugural ball!:

The blue wedding trolley provided a ride to The Biltmore's Imperial Ballroom:

There were lots of funny and heartfelt toasts throughout the evening:

A formal seated dinner was served by Affairs To Remember caterers:

The Del Baroni Orchestra played everything from Frank Sinatra to Outkast:

Gabriel's Desserts did the cake:

When the reception ended, we took Callie and Syd out for some night shots with their awesome 1962 Rolls Royce and then they returned to the Hotel Palomar for the after party with their wedding peeps!

.....and now they are in Mexico ~ Congrats Callie & Syd!

Laura & Robbie ~ September 26, 2009

Patrick was dodging the raindrops photographing Laura & Robbie at their wedding in the mountains of Big Canoe,GA. Everyone was a good sport about the weather and they definitely didn't mind it at the reception! Can you say dance-a-thon??

We met Laura through Jessica at Fernbank - Laura is one of the special events peeps there - so it was an honor to be a part of her big day. The multi-talented Jessica(who's wedding we photographed this past August) did ALL of the flowers for the wedding. Impressive!

Chilling out in the bride's room before walking down the aisle:

Ashley Baber Weddings coordinated the wedding and reception:

Don't worry Robbie, you get used to wearing a wedding ring! Feels weird at first, though!

The reception was at The Chimneys, a rustic mountain lodge with a down home feel:

Bold American Catering Co. did a great southern buffet:

A Grateful Dead cake sitting atop tie dyed linens!

Mini chocolate and vanilla ice cream cones:

Have a great time at your little grass hut in Costa Rica, guys!
