Welcome to Liz and Alfie's snowstorm wedding!! This was a rare opportunity to photograph a real winter wedding in Atlanta ~ blizzard and all! Patrick was on hand to document the festivites. Also running the show were the awesome mother/daughter team at Kate & Campbell Weddings.







Beautiful ceremony at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Buckhead:









Here's where they were really brave - walking outside in the snow and then freezing to death for some pictures in front of the reception site, the Capital City Club downtown. They are officially rock stars for standing out there in the 20 degree temps!











...and now back inside to get warm!!











The guest book was an Atlanta coffee table book that the guests could write messages in:



Everyone quickly forgot all about the blizzard outside and got the party started!!

Venue Spotlight: The Fox Theatre

There is no other spot in Atlanta quite like the fabulous Fox! Thank goodness it wasn't torn down in the 70's - that would have been completely tragic (who's idea was that, anyway? FAIL).

Anyway, this place is awesome for events of all sizes and great for pictures both indoors and outside on Peachtree Street.

Venue Spotlight: The Atlanta Botanical Garden

Another favorite is of course, the Atlanta Botanical Garden! At any time of the year, it's a standout for pictures and ambience. Here's a spread from a November wedding:

The courtyard is Cocktail Hour Central and the Day Hall is a magnificent ballroom that is perfect for a reception:
