Debra & Adam ~ June 26, 2010

To close out our busy spring wedding season, we had the honor of photographing Debra & Adam's fabulous wedding at the JW Marriott hotel in Buckhead. Wedding planner Felissa Covin was on hand to take care of all the details and JWilbur from Eventscapes designed the florals for the event:

Fabric from Debra's wedding dress was used as a wrap around her bouquet's stems:

Purple wedding flats - a girl has to be comfortable!

Debra was poised at the top of the grand staircase so that she and Adam could have a moment alone - we got some great candid shots while hiding behind furniture and crawling around behind columns:

They swore they would not go outside in the 95 degree heat - until I mentioned photos by the banana trees. Sold!!

Some photogs might complain about a random guest's flash going off, but I love the way this shot turned out!

Table place cards were suspended between two branches that matched the chuppah:

The guestbook was a coffee table book about Greece - and each guest wrote a special message in it:

The dances with the parents were especially sweet. Then after some toasts, dinner was served and dancing mayhem ensued:

After a last dance with bubbles, Debra & Adam said goodnight and are now in Greece on their honeymoon. Don't be jealous!!

Anne & Doug ~ June 19, 2010

We have been photographing weddings at the Fox Theatre since 1996 and every time I get a chance to shoot there, I fall more in love with it! So, I joined Patrick in documenting the first part of  Anne & Doug's evening - a photo session at the Fox, hitting all of the good picture spots there!

Photobucket

Tulip designed all of the fabulous florals and wedding planner Courtney Surber Paz made sure the day ran perfectly:

We set Anne up in the theatre, then Doug walked in and they saw each other for the first time in wedding wear. Then we dragged them all over the Fox for pics ~ thanks for walking up and down all of those stairs, guys!

Anne's brother officially gets a shout-out for being a "bro-maid"!! He was hilarious and we got some sassy shots of them out on the terrace:

The wedding party then jumped into a limo bus and headed over to Peachtree Christian Church for the ceremony (and more sassy pics). At this point, Patrick handled the rest of the photography for the event:

Tables were also set out on the terrace for the guests to enjoy the balmy June evening:

...and off they went, to the Georgian Terrace Hotel, right across the street. Congratulations on a perfect wedding, Anne & Doug!!
