Julia & Patrick ~ January 15, 2011

Julia and Patrick's post-snowstorm/ice storm wedding at the beautiful Peachtree Road UMC turned out to be perfect, although the city was completely shut down the week leading up to it and we were all getting really nervous!! But look at the blue skies they ended up with....what a relief.

 

The floral design was by Tony Brewer and Company and this little "something blue" was added to the bouquet in honor of Patrick's status as a Navy pilot:







We got the girls to run outside in the frozen tundra to grab this snow shot!







Julia was model-perfect for her bridal portraits:



Patrick with his dad (center) and all of his brothers! He also has 4 sisters!!





We asked Patrick for a gangster look and he delivered!



















A wonderful evening of dinner and dancing followed at Cherokee Town Club with The Del Baroni Orchestra playing:

The pastry chefs at Cherokee created this Auburn Tigers stadium cake - all edible!

Rose petals - not edible! But I LOL'ed when I saw this picture:

Allie & Brandon ~ January 1, 2011

The historic Georgian Terrace Hotel is just picture perfect. There are soooo many photogenic spots there and it was the ideal place for us to start pictures with Allie and her bridesmaids before heading over to St. Luke's Episcopal Church for she and Brandon's wedding ceremony!





Formal Faces came to the hotel suite to do everyone's make-up:







Allie wore her mother's veil:





Brandon and the guys met us at the church for pictures right before the ceremony. Thank goodness it stopped raining because I was not going to be happy unless we could get pictures in front of the famous red doors!
















After the wedding, we did a quick rehearsal of the first-dance-dip for the reception!



...then jumped on board the red trolley to ride back to the Georgian Terrace with the wedding party:

















No new year's day is complete without black-eyed peas and collards!



Then the throw-down really got started as they danced the night away and kept the dance floor full until the very last song:

Allie & Brandon booked our PhotoStation for their reception and it was packed all night! The hilarity was non-stop with this bunch:








Off they went in their carriage down Peachtree St. - into the misty night! Congratulations, Allie and Brandon!
